You will spend your first three years taking undergraduate courses that will provide you with the foundational knowledge to be successful in the graduate program. In your fourth year you will matriculate into the graduate program and begin the 运动训练硕士 (垫)课程. At the completion of the fourth year, you will earn your B.S. 运动科学. At the conclusion of your fifth year, you will earn you master’s degree in Athletic Training.

- Transfer students are eligible to apply to this program. Transcript review will determine whether the program can be completed in an accelerated fashion. Students must complete a minimum of two-years at Immaculata prior to matriculating into the MAT.
一旦你被加速课程录取, you will be required to maintain academic standards for progression. 每学期, the athletic training program director will review your transcript to make sure you are maintaining the required 3.0 cumulative grade point average and earning a C+ or higher in all pre-requisite courses. 在你第三年的春天, you will complete a formal application to matriculate into the graduate program. This application will ensure that you have met the requirements for admission into the 运动训练硕士 program (pre-requisite courses, 技术标准, CPR / AED认证, 运动训练实习, 和主管评价). All students maintaining these criteria will begin the MAT in the summer of their fourth year.
If for some reason you are unable to maintain these criteria, you will be able to continue your education in our traditional four-year pre-athletic training program and apply to the 运动训练硕士 at the completion of your senior year.

Currently there is no maximum number of students accepted each year. We seek to enroll all students who are qualified and have a strong interest in a career in athletic training.

You may choose to remain in the undergraduate program for a fourth year because you want to participate in your senior year of athletics or you feel you are not ready to enter the graduate program just yet. If you choose to continue with a fourth year in the undergraduate program, your seat in the masters program will be deferred for one year. Please note that you will still need to complete a full two years in the graduate program.
