If you are Active or Reserve 军事

You may be eligible for federal and state education assistance, but all military service members, 以及他们的配偶, receive a special tuition rate from Immaculata. Please contact our 招生 Office at 484-323-3060 or email us at admiss@yuandongjituan.net. Once you apply, you will be asked to submit documentation to verify your eligibility.

Pennsylvania 国民警卫队 Benefits

The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) together with the Pennsylvania Department of 军事 and 退伍军人 Affairs (DMVA), 管理 Educational Assistance Program (EAP) for members of the Pennsylvania 国民警卫队. This program provides tuition assistance for students who enter into a service commitment with the Pennsylvania 国民警卫队, typically for a period of six years. With the July 2019 enactment of the 军事 Family Education Program (MFEP), there is a new non-lapsing Fund providing EAP-like tuition 好处 to spouses and children of members of the Pennsylvania 国民警卫队 when a Guard member re-enlists for another 6-year term.

The 退伍军人事务部 offers several different programs for individuals that meet specific qualifications. For the most up-to-date information on the G.I. 比尔®,访问 www.gibill.va.政府. Please read the descriptions of the programs available through the 退伍军人事务部 and the program requirements listed below to determine your eligiblity.

  • 蒙哥马利G.I. 比尔®(第30章)
    • You are eligible if you enlisted after July 1, 1985; served at least two years on Active Duty; your pay was reduced by $100 per month for the first 12 months of service; you have an honorable discharge; and you have not passed the 10-year delimiting date.
  • 蒙哥马利G.I. Bill® – Selected Reserves (Chapter 1606)
    • You are eligible if you incurred a 6-year enlistment in the Selected Reserves or the 国民警卫队 after July 1, 1985; completed initial active duty training; are serving in good standing in your unit; and you have not passed the 10-year delimiting date.
  • 退伍军人’ Educational Assistance Program (Chapter 32) and Vietnam Era G.I. 比尔®(第34章)
    • Eligibility depends on the dates of active duty service; amount contributed; and recent VA legislation. 打电话给退伍军人事务部.888.442.4551 to determine your individual eligibility.
  • Reserve Educational Assistance Program (Chapter 1607)
    • See the questions and answers page to learn more about this benefit, which became available in 2005.
  • Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance (Chapter 35)
    • Dependents of veterans (spouses and children ages 18-26) are eligible if the veteran has a 100 percent service-connected disability or the veteran’s death was service-connected.
  • Vocational Rehabilitation (Chapter 31)
    • 退伍军人 who suffered a service-connected disability while on active duty and need vocational rehabilitation as a result of their disability (normally 20 percent or greater) may be eligible for 好处. See more information about this benefit by clicking on the link above.
  • The Post 9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33)
    • The Post-9/11 GI Bill® is for individuals with at least 90 days of aggregate service on or after Sept. 11, 2001, or individuals discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 days. You must have received an honorable discharge to be eligible for this Bill, which became effective for training in 2009.

  • 助教决定: This comparison tool is designed specifically to aid participants of DoD’s 学费 Assistance (TA) program in making informed choices on schools and education programs.

The TA is awarded to a student under the assumption that the student will attend school for the entire period for which the assistance is awarded. 当学生退学时, the student may no longer be eligible for the full amount of TA funds originally awarded.

To comply with the new Department of Defense policy, (Immaculata大学) will return any unearned TA funds on a prorate basis through at least the 60% portion of the period for which the funds were provided. TA funds are earned proportionally during an enrollment period, with unearned funds returned based upon when a student stops attending. These funds are returned to the military Service branch.

Instances when a Service member stops attending due to a military service obligation, the educational institution will work with the affected Service member to identify solutions that will not result in student debt for the returned portion.
